We all think about the expense of going to school such as tuition, books, special fee’s, etc. but remember the average college kid grows during the four year term of school and clothes is very important. Many students who attend a college or University in a cold climate need many clothes to keep them warm. One of the many important things that a student needs is to be kept warm and comfortable in order to keep up with their studies. A parent gets so involved with taking care of the other expenses that colleges attach to the student and then of course the children at home need things as well sometimes the idea of buying clothes may not seem affordable. The student now being more of an adult often hates to relate to the parent the shortage of clothing or the fact that they have outgrown what they are now wearing. There is help for the college student when it comes to buying clothes. The student services provide you with the information that you need to find very inexpensive clothing that will keep you warm.
A student can find out where to go to find comfortable clothes that will keep them warm and in some cases the clothing store for students provide a system where they can trade their clothes for other clothes or possibly sell the clothes and using the money to buy themselves what they need. There are churches in the community that help provide clothing for those students who are in need in order to help them through school. You can find community centers that will help you with your clothing needs as well but remember you need not go without there are many resources. The best place you can start with help is with student services and perhaps one of the local churches in the community. Many students donate their time in repayment for clothes which is a great way to make friends and help others in the community.
You need to have warm socks in your wardrobe in order to keep your feet warm. You cannot study if you have cold wet feet. You should look into getting silk underwear as this is best for the transition of the cold outside to the overheated inside classrooms. You should also make sure that you have warm winter boots and a down winter coat or jacket in order to keep warm. You do not want to catch a bad cold or the flu this will slow down your studies and make life very unbearable. You can find that if you check out sales and go online you might be able to purchase these items at a very reasonable amount of money. If you inquire with student services sometimes they also know where you are able to get a clothing voucher that will help provide you with the money necessary for your clothes. There is money available for clothes for the college kid.

Simply put, you shouldn’t be wearing Hollister if you are in college.
It may be time to move on to a more sophisticated look. If you really like the brand or you are just more comfortable dressing casual, I suggest Abercrombie & Fitch (which is specifically aimed towards college kids) or Ruehl 925. They are all owned by the same company anyways so does it really matter?
