I am an 18 year old male currently living in Florida. I am looking for the best deal on college tuition. I am willing to pay more in order to recieve a better education, but there is a cap of what I am willing to pay. Can anyone shed some light on my situation.
Don’t be afraid of out-of-state tuition because after financial aid has been accounted for, you’d be amazed at how much the price can be reduced.
My financial aid package at my top choice college brought the tuition from almost $41,000 (room and board included) down to only about $13,000 and all I did was file the FAFSA. So don’t be afraid of the sticker price you see at first (because as long as you fill out the FAFSA, it’ll become a good price that’s manageable).

At the University of Alaska Anchorage, the tuition plus room and board is about $11,000 per year for residents. Education in the areas of engineering and natural sciences is excellent.

If you are willing to move to Canada, the education is cheap and VERY high quality. Manitoba is the cheapest.
